InLine can design the structural support system for exterior awnings and overhangs. Each solution is dependant on the size of the awning, shape of the awning, and the construction of the support system. For support from wood framed wall systems, the attachment may require lag screws into existing (or upgraded) framing. Concrete walls typically use expansion anchors for support. Steel wall systems might use self tapping screws to support the new awning. The size of the awning has a significant impact on the connection requirements due to the wind loading.
